Hey there!

My name is Gabriel Rivera and welcome to Latinos en Music. Since I was a small child Latino music and culture has been omnipresent in my life. I remember watching my grandparents singing along to salsa music in their apartment in the Bronx while they cooked and cleaned. I always was fascinated with how infectious Latin music and culture could be. As I grew older, my investment in Latin music and culture only grew. Now a grad student in college, I was given an assignment to create and develop my own blog on something that I find enjoyment in. With the help of my Professor I settled on the idea of Latinos en Music. A blog where people can come and get some info on Latin artist and their impact on the English and Spanish markets. I am excited to see where this blog will go and hope you all stick around with me on this journey.
